At each level of training, the Ad Astra WFA offers a certified training cockpit - ELITE S812 FNPT II. It’s a product from ELITE Simulation Solutions – a reputable Swiss company.

The use of the flight simulator in the training process reduces the cost of training (particularly for the IT(A) course). The instructor can stop the simulation at any time to clarify a problem that has suddenly arisen or to repeat an exercise. The simulator has been designed as a Piper Seneca III cockpit.

The simulator comprises an enclosed cockpit and a fully integrated instructor station (allowing to control weather conditions and aircraft defects and displaying the navigation details, as needed by an instructor). The external visual system is operated by three image generators. To make the pilot “feel” the plane, the control wheel and the pedals are coupled with servomotors to simulate the forces occurring when flying a real aircraft.
